GROUPS and GATHERINGS

We offer many ways to connect with one another.
The Women's Group...
...gets together monthly at UUTC on the first Thursday from 2 to 4 pm. Through discussion and guest lecturers, they learn about one another, our local community, and our extended community. Occasionally, the group takes local field trips to visit points of interest in our area. It is a warm, friendly gathering, and newcomers are always welcome! For more information, email the Women's Group.

The Men's Group...
...meets every Tuesday at UUTC, from 9 to 10 am. The group facilitator is usually our minister, Ernie Mills, who opens with a discussion point. However, in the course of the hour, topics can vary widely, from history and politics to music and love! All men are welcome. For more information, email the Mens Group.

Music making...
...happens every Wednesday morning from 9 to 10:30 at UUTC. Ernie Mills and some UU members and friends known as The Eclectics gather for an informal music jam Singing along is encouraged. Everyone is welcome - and a good time is guaranteed! .

Covenant Groups...
...are gatherings of six to ten people who meet under a set of mutually agreed-upon guidelines—a covenant. It offers an intimate setting for participants to get to know one another, share stories, explore spiritual ideas, discuss social concerns, and turn those ideas and concerns into action. For more information, see Covenant Groups.

Wonderful Wednesdays...
...is a unique program combining friendship, food, and learning opportunities for the whole family. Sessions are held several times per year, and run from four to six Wednesdays. Each evening begins with dinner at 5:30. In keeping with our concept of equality, there is no charge for the meal. Donations make it possible to serve delicious meals. Following the meal there are learning experiences for both children and adults. The adult programs cover a wide variety of interests, from religious studies to music to social issues to personal growth. Nursery care is provided for the youngest children. The evening ends at 7:30.

Wonderful Wednesdays are called WONDERFUL for a reason! Join us! Everyone is welcome.
